Dwarf Hamster How much bedding should I use?
As dwarf hamsters are burrowers by nature, bedding or substrate, will be of benefit to them and help satisfy their need to burrow.
If you scatter approximately 2 inches all over the floor of their cage, they will move it about to please themselves and make a cosey nest. It’s best to use a wood based bedding, but avoid cedar products as this can make your dwarf hamster ill.
