What do Dwarf Hamsters look like?

The Djungarian dwarf is also known as the Campbell hamster, is originally found in Central Asia, China & Siberia. In the wild they tend to be a light gray to gray brown coloring on their back with ivory on their sides and a white underbelly, with a gray strip running down their back. They tend to be about 3 to 4 inches in length when they are full grown.

Campbell’s at times can be very quick moving and of the three kinds of dwarf hamsters, this is the one that most like will bite the hand that feeds them! Having a place where you can view your pet and their fun antics can be quite enjoyable!
